Recruiting a new Project Coordinator

Over the past 10 years, Edinburgh Garden Partners (EGP) has developed a unique approach to addressing the risks of social isolation in our communities. By matching volunteers who are looking for a space to grow with local garden owners who have a space to share, our garden partnerships create meaningful and lasting social connections between people of different ages and cultural backgrounds. It is the shared interest in gardening and the exchange of skills, knowledge and life experience that make our garden partnerships so special and rewarding for everyone involved.

We are looking for a Project Coordinator who is committed to the values and ethos of EGP, and has the skills and energy to grow the organisation’s development. This is an exciting and dynamic role which blends practical and hands-on responsibility for project delivery and day-to-day operations, with longer-term planning and development.

The successful candidate will therefore have skills in strategic leadership, experience of project management and volunteer management, and be highly organised and capable of working with a large degree of individual autonomy. They will also be a natural collaborator who thrives on building good relationships and partnerships with colleagues, volunteers and external organisations in order to further EGP’s mission.
