Our Gardens

Below are a selection of images of our garden partners in their shared spaces taken by photographer Fern Farmer in summer 2022. These images were displayed at the Scottish Storytelling Centre in September 2022 as part of an exhibition “Sharing Gardens: Sharing Lives” to celebrate Edinburgh Garden Partners 11th Anniversary

Intergenerational Excellence Award 2022

In March 2022 our work was recognised by Generations Working Together and we received an award for Intergenerational Excellence in Tackling Climate Change. The video below, made by Generations Working together, features garden owner, Mamie and volunteer, Murray in their shared space, as well as Project Coordinator, Debs explaining what EGP means to them.

BBC Radio Scotland Feature

In July 2020 Edinburgh Garden Partners featured on BBC Radio Scotland’s Sunday Morning programme. In the clip, which you can listen to below, Mrs Pandya and her garden partner Becca speak about the garden and their relationship. Mrs Indu K Pandya sadly passed away in October 2021, she had supported and been involved with our partner organisation NKS since it was set up in 1987 and was also a passionate gardener. She will be greatly missed.
